Sergeant First Class (Ret) Thomas R. Vinette completed Military Police One Station Unit Training in 1983 at Fort McClellan Alabama. He held positions Patrolman, Team Leader, Squad Leader and Platoon Sergeant.
SFC Vinette, while assigned to the 204th Military Police Company, deployed with VII Corps and provided support to the Tactical Action Center, and Jump TAC Security during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He served in both Garrison and Combat environments then retired in 2003.
SFC (Ret) Vinette is currently the Chief of Plans and Operations Division at USAG Carlisle Barracks, home of the United States Army War College in Pennsylvania. He leads and provides oversight of Installation Operations including, Antiterrorism and Emergency Management. His education includes a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and a Bachelors Degree in Homeland Security from Central Penn College.
